camp Switzerland @Lake gregory, CA, last summer, and it is a yearly tradition, although the best time I ever had camping with my family was at San Onofre, CA....camping and surfing at the same time, doesn't get much better than that!

Last June, we went to Toro Negrro in Puerto Rico. It was so amazing, we had a great time hiking and swimming. We are gong back in July.

I agree with Barbiepc… K.O.A. campgrounds are great. They are all over the country. Most have a small store on the property, they have tent and camper facilitles, and they are clean and family friendly. They almost always have a playground and pool. Excellent choice for SAFE family friendly camping! Here is their website…http://www.koa.com/

The K O A campground is a great place to go and not far from home, lots of activities and a nice pool. I took my family about 3 weeks ago.
